The DJI Landing Skid Leg for S1000 is a key component of the retractable landing gear system on the DJI S1000 octocopter. Positioned between the Retractable Module (Part 17 or Part 18) and the Landing Skid (Part 20), the landing leg helps ensure that the gimbal and camera assembly remain elevated and protected from the ground during takeoff and landing. When the drone is on the ground, the landing gear provides a stable platform, preventing the camera from touching the surface. In-flight, the landing skids retract, allowing for unobstructed 360° camera shots, enhancing the flexibility and performance of the aerial camera system.
